I was speaking with my friend , who is a manager at Babages/Gamestop, about the game and he told me at a recent meeting with area & district managers it was told to him that they are seriously considering the idea of giving away a free Warriors DVD to everyone who reserves the game.

This would be the regular wide screen DVD, not the new special addition, but still it's a pretty cool bonus especially if you don't have the film or only have the VHS.

My friend told me that it is about an 80% chance right now that this will happen. He says that Babbages has had great success in the past doing this with other movie related games.

I don't know how this will apply to other countries such as the U.K., or even if this is only a promotion for that store's district. (South Jersey) I'll let you know when more info is available. 8)

It looks likely, as nothing else is even remotely mentioned as a pre-order bonus.

Nope, I mean the video game. If you're gonna pre order it anyway, just leave the five bucks at a Gamestop or Babages & hold on to the reciept. Even if you leave the reserve before they decide what the bonus is they usually don't give it out until the game comes in and you get the game & bonus at the same time.

And, like I said.......if they decide not to go with the DVD as a bonus, as long as you were gonna pre order the game anyway it shouldn't matter. At least you are guarrenteed getting the game on the day it comes out.

Personally, I would rather get something I don't already have as a bonus, since I already own the DVD and will also be getting the director's cut. But this is gonna be a Gamestop promotion, not a Rockstar promotion so there isn't gonna be anything "Exclusive" that you couldn't pick up somewhere else.

I think everyone on here all readdy has the movie on DVD, but i guses i will keep it as a loner copy to let me friends see.

Actually, I reserved it at my friends store in South Jersey when he told me about the DVD. What I might do though, is if I hear about any places like EB in the city giving out something different like a poster, I'll reserve it there too, then bring it back unopened the next day and exchange it for something else or credit for Smackdown Vs. Raw 06. 8) 8) 8)

I'll get it for PS2. The only real advantage to games that are identical on the X-Box is you don't need a memory card with the hard drive, but I have plenty of extra ones.

Dude, that'd be so freakin sweet if they gave away the dvd. We only have it on laserdisc, and the laserdisc player is in a room with no air conditioning, so it'd be super sweet if I could watch it in my moderately-temperatured room.
My dad reserved it for me for my birthday (which was Friday, september 2nd) and he made a cool card too. I might try to post some pics of it tomorrow after school.
