Last night I saw the trailer for the remake of John Carpenter's 1980 horror classic "The Fog". Let me tell you, from what I've seen, and what I read about it after watching the trailer, it's lookin' real good.
The plot is the same.
All the characters are the same.
Classic lines are still there, such as the radio DJ (played by Adrienne Barbeau in the original & Selma Blair in the remake) yelling into the microphone to warn all her listeners "There's something in the fog".
The new effects look good.
Tony Scott - are you paying attention??????

I though that trailer looked pretty good as well. And though not a true remake that The Exorcism of Emily Rose also looks pretty good. It is bound to be compared to The Exorcist. But I have been disappointed by bad movies with good trailers before.
