Warriors Movie showing at the Coney Island Film Festival

This is a quote from Rob Leddy who runs the Coney Island museum and Film Festival: "We're also bringing back
"The Warriors" as a special screening on October 1st! A true Coney
Island classic. Last year we packed the house and wouldn't you know it,
it became an interactive film going experience! People reciting lines,
loud applause, clanging beer bottles. Can you dig it?"

I can't wait. I usually volunteer for at the film festival. Also the Coney Island subway station has been completely rebuilt so it looks nothing like it did in the movie.

If anyone knows the artist of the Warriors muriel on the boardwalk at the Coney Island amusement park please let me know. I haven't found out yet.

there is a murial of the warriors on the side of a concession stand on the boardwalk at Coney Island. It wasn't done by the artists who do the art for the Coney island amusement park.

I would upload a photo of it but I couldn't figure out how to do it.

This October 2005 in Coney Island Brooklyn, New York they will be opening the Coney Island Film Festival with a showing of the Warriors.

1 week to go, so I figured this thread could use a bump.

I'm planning on catching the screening. From what I can see, on the Coney Island Film Festival site, the tickets are only available on the door half an hour before the screening. There'll probably quite a que.

Did anyone go to the screeing last year? If so do you have any advice on how early to get there, etc?

Its not a real movie theater just a room they use to screen movies. There won't be that much of a line, nothing like the lines for movies in New York City. If you show up 30 to 40 minutes before if you want a seat in the front of the room that should be fine. The room isn't that big, the screen is small, too. When they run out of chairs they let people stand in the back.
