Run away from the cart

I cant beat this part of mission 8 i think it is. It's called "Encore". Once u kill the hi hats u have to run away from a cart and its impossible. Same with the chin-ups. Im at 3/10 chin ups but cant get 4! every other work out station is unable to be practiced right now except for the chin ups. The tapping X thing is hard or im just not doing it right. Im hitting trhe X as fast as i can for the cart thing and chin ups but i just die/ run out of time. Someone help!

Set your controller on the floor, and with your index finger tap like a madman. Makes it super easy.

I've tried that. The farthest i've ever gotten was to the wooden bridge. I'll just continue to try.

same here i tap like mad but at 1 sec left i go for the 10th pullup and iam half second late

The key for fast tapping is to not actually remove your finger from the X button but press it gently and fast. It took me a couple of attempts to get past. It also helps to start tapping before you start running.

i cant believe people are having these problems with this game, maybe im just real good

but that blinking x if your on with that while pushing it makes a sond the more your on the faster you will go and more in rythem, when you get ott from that no sounds happen and you guy gets tired

Yes, the gentle fast push works like a charm. The best thing to do is use the INSIDE of your thumb and what War Chief said. I got mine the first time

I've got carpal tunnel, and I still manage. I got rank 10 on all exercises, too.

I'll never win the drinking contest in Chrono Trigger, though.

I can handle the thumb easily with no problem, but, if you want speed, lay her down and push the button with you ring finger. Honest. At least for me. In Point Blank 3 for PS1, theres a practice mission where theres an endless tower of targets, and using a controller instead of a gun allows the crosshair to be automatically centered on the tower and all you need to do is tap X enough times in the time limit. The insane difficulty is 75 presses in 10 seconds. I can get 112 in 10 seconds. All using my ring finger.
I dunno about the gun though, i broke it along time ago and can only use a controller now.

it's the same thing, gotta jam that A button!!! or X depending on your system!
PS2's buttons are 2 mushy, on those stages!!
i like the XBOX buttons, better!! more spring!!
it was funny, my son couldn't beat that level either, he had me do it!!

it was the funniest thing you ever saw, when i ran from the bus!!
I WAS GONE!!! LOL passed up all the cp warriors, you almost couldn't see me on the screen i was going so fast, and so far ahead!!!
it was SO funny!! all you saw of swan, was a-holes, and elbows!!! LOL

Sorry forgot to inform you guys that I beat it yesterday, thanks for the tips. I made a new thread about it yesterday though titled, "Finally!!!". Hooray, I'm now on like the 11th or 12th level. Just killed Birdie.
