but i was just lettin a friend of mine check out the game, ( i can't believe i didn't notice it before!!) and he started from the beginning, and right in the beginning, in new blood, after you get all the warriors together and beat on the destroyers, you go back to the hangout, and the destroyers tagged it, and everybody's pissed, swan distinctly says, to cleon, and i quote the game, "what do you wanna do? WAR CHIEF??"
i think this should settle it, period!
and if ya don't believe me, check it out for yourself.
it's the 1st level, new blood.

while your video game example might be correct....
in the movie = canon
anything else = hearsay
sorry to get all lucas/star wars on ya, but we all know, if it ain't in the movie it doesn't count as a movie fact.

Man, if we're going to consider the game as evidence, it says in the game manual, page 15, "Cleon, As Warlord...." "Swan, The Warchief: Second in Command!" check that out. That settles this nonsense.

Emissary I wasn't taking a "shot" at you with the dictionary thing, I was just trying to poke some humor in the situation. I just thought it was funny that the dictionary *seemed* to give a third take on it, but it was up for interpretation. I don't have a rep around here of taking shots or starting fights or anything. NO KIDDING!!!! i agree!!!
but, one of E's point's was that's the way it was in the movie, and the video game!!
and like you said E about the manual page 15, it says "cleon" WARLORD, "swan" WARCHIEF, and IN the game, "swan" clearly calls "cleon" WARCHIEF!
so, now that there's been an example shown, in the movie, and the game, of the 2 being INTERCHANGABLE, i think i'm DONE!!!!

Cleon - I know a lot of you aren't too happy about going out on patrol. Just remember this. Out of a street family of 120 plus affiliates, you were chosen for this expedition and that makes you special. Now here's the lineup.

Cleon - Swan, second in command, WAR CHIEF, stay by me. Snowball, you're the music man. Cowboy, soldier the middle. Vermin, you're the bearer, carries the tokens and the bread. Rembrandt, got the stuff?

I am sitting here trying to figure out why this, seemingly pointless issue, is so important to me. I guess we are all(those paying attention to this thread) metaphorically in a graveyard style scenario. We all have the same vest on. There are those who feel strongly, and those who just want to get moving. In the Warriors, Vermin, Cowboy and Cochise speak on behalf of Swan while letting Ajax know they still care about him. Ajax never backs down really. Swan just waits for a few moments and when Ajax doesn't attack, they go. So, we can't stay in this graveyard all night! "Every cop in this city looking to bust our heads."

But in response Soldier, I just say that Cleon is never called Warchief.
Vermin and Fox, say, "Swan's Warchief"

and now we move on and everyone has fun again and really all i,m trying to do here is keep the humour going like gonzo and the others have done.come on we dont need to fight unless its some know it all noob or a noob who wants to come in and rain on the party with stupid remarks(night timer) springs immediately back to mind.
