The Warriors Movie Remake...

Rockstar Toronto has made a remake of The Warriors movie and better than anyone else possibly could [stay with me] it uses the same story line, locations and the original characters...this comes in the forum of Rockstars video game The Warriors... no this not the typical remake...it's 10x better...the kicker is that we are in the movie, sorta speak...how many of us have at one time or another have pretended we were one of The Warriors...I have...be honest...now we 'really' can via the PS2 or Xbox...we can be Ajax, Swan...all of The Warriors this is a Diehard fans dream come true

Just like Chevy Chase says, "Be the ball".

I almost forgot, there's a prequel...but that's for another post

Actually I wrote this...in this forum and others...there's talk about remakes, updates etc...I do the same...then I realized that there is a remake...this is my opinon...Rockstars VG The Warriors...others may or may not agree...you have at admit it's damn close...

I agree 110 %. I've been saying that I wish Rockstar was in charge of the remake instead of MTV cause it's obvious they know what the true fans want.

Thanks for the info. It would most certainly appear that rockstar knows more about what the fans want then MTV but remember, one is a game and one is a movie...The movie cant please everyone!!! WE ALL DONT KNOW WHAT MTV HAS PLANNED FOR "OUR" WARRIORS FROM THE BIG C.I. so for now, let's just hope it will be good enough to please us.

the remake will suck he changed the whole story and makin it into a different movie and its in LA!

Yes... Give the development of a film to a company that develops games.

In other ingenious ideas - put nurses in charge of the police in every city all over the world and hand over NASA's Mars missions to milk delivery companies.

By the way - an adaptation of one medium into another is not a remake by any definition of the noun, no matter how stretched.

This remake will be a 2006 version of any Laurence Fishburne/ Wesley Snipes/ Ice Cube /Robert Townsend "gang" movie from the late 80's 90's

So this new film is not a more faithful adaptation of the Sol Yurick novel?

Will it be Swan or Hector? Cyrus or Ismael? etc etc.

not only is it a remake but it is a prequeal , im half way thru the game and i still have 6 levels togo til it picks up at the big meeting, ... and not only that it has side missions that you earn the take you thru the formining of the warriors how cleon was in the destroyers and was double crossed by the leader ... also how ajax joined and several others... it is simply the best game ive played...........blackcaesar "Can You Count suckas!!"

i reckon the remake is going to be rubbish. 1. its set in LA

2. there gettin rid of the characters and the original gangs. i reckon they shud remake warriors but make it longer like the game for example.
