Warriors Questions
I have a couple of good warrior questions that me and my friends have been debating on for a good time now, and now i will ask you guys the hard questions.
1) Are any of the Warriors enrolled in high school?
2) What age range do you think the warriors are?

Warriors high school
I don't think they were in High School any more. As far as their age...anywhere from 18-21.

Warriors Questions
I always figured 18-25. Play the part with the Orphans and they talk about their "youth counselors." Orphan guy says they don't have one and Swan says something like "wow, you must be pretty bad." I am not sure what ages the youth counselors deal with. Do youth counselors only counsel high scholl kids? I dunno.

Warriors Questions
Well say it takes place in 1979, say they were in high schol during the ending period of the Vietnam war, early to mid 70's, and maybe became criminals to dodge the draft because they weren't smart enough to go to college, so that would make them in their mid 20's, and I always figured that Rembrandt was 18 or so. Cleon would be nearing 30, with vermin not too far behind. In order of age, from oldest to youngest, I'd guess:
Cleon, Vermin, Ajax, Swan (maybe the same age as Ajax), Snow, Cowboy, Fox, Cochise, Rembrandt
Cleon, Vermin, Ajax, Swan (maybe the same age as Ajax), Snow, Cowboy, Fox, Cochise, Rembrandt

NO the Vietnam war draft was done before that. The war had stopped taking kids about 1969 for the actual overseas conflict, Not very many of my grad class had to report, and most of the ones who served never had to leave the states---but the 68 and before classes had V.Vets in it--quite a few. So that was not a consideration for them.
I think considering it was summer, yes, most of them either were going to be in school in the fall, or had just graduated. I am sure some of them may have been drop outs- if they had a youth worker---there were also truant officers. And I am sure some of them were held up somewhere along the line, so they may have been older and still in school anyway.
I don't see them NOT going to school, simply because there isn't any where else to be, and after a while, you get too bored to simply do nothing.
Even if they were disruptive, and weren't passing, or were being passed just to keep them going till they got out---I don't see Swan, or Snow or Cowboy or Rembrant just standing still.
I see Rembrant being around 16ish maybe just turning 17---and I see the rest 17-21.
Look at Cleon's girlfriend in the deleted scenes--NO WAY she is out of high school, and I don't see any way he could have been more than EARLY 20s.I got the impression they all still lived with family.
By the time kids like that are 30--they have to support themselves and join life---the gangs weren't into big dope business back then, no way for them to get by and stay on the street corners---he would have had to have a real job, and that doesn't leave much time for conclaves, and gang fights.

Ranch you seem to have an answer for everything. I wish you had been in my Science class, Math, and Debate class in High School with me, man I would of passed those classes easily. You remind me of what I used to tell my pop's everytime I had a question, I would always say: " Dad, let me ask you something; since you know everything and what you don't know you make up.....". Man I remember he would crack up everytime......I miss that old bird.
