i duno y but iam actully lookin forward 2 the new warriors movie and i know they cant remake a classic like the warriors i dont care if one of ma best celbs is in it but i think u just cannot remake a classic like that again

I still don't like the idea. Granted, of course the origional will be better but this new warriors doesn't even feel like a vague remake. They've changed nearly EVERYTHING and are still using the licence. I guess in my opinion it's more principal here.

I mean, I think any of us could make a "remake" better using The Warriors' licence than this will be. If this were a stand alone movie not using The Warriors licence and name then I could care less, but now they're just ruining the name of The Warriors.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Dawn Of The Dead, Starsky And Hutch, etc, they all used the licence and they at least resembled the movies they used the licence for.

I just can't stand the whole idea of taking something as great as The Warriors, changing it completely and still raping the good name of it for personal gain.

Do you honestly think the people in Hollywood are going to care if 500 people sign a petition to stop the remake? I mean, honestly now? Once you hit 500 signatures, everything is just going to stop because people like you don't like remakes? Uh-uh, that isn't the way this world works bub. If you really hate the remake, don't watch it. I wouldn't even call you a Warriors fan. And you know why? Because every true fan here can except change to this legendary movie. I bet if we put up a petition stopping yours, it would get about 50x more signatures than that stupid petition could ever get.

Think of it like this: A bad remake doesn't mean a bad original. Even if the remake is bad, it won't ruin the original. What the flying fuck is wrong with some of you?

ok we may not like it when they remake movies but who cares?The 1979 version was good but id rather see it updated just to see if they did a good job in remaking it.wat happens if u get 500 signitures?its not gunna stop them from making it.

Sorry---the original stands on its own merit-by itself--and the remake will have absolutely NO reflection on it what so ever.
those who go to and like the remake, will like it for what it is. And the ones that don't like it won't for what it isn't.
Just like those who love the original will ALWAYS love it for what it is--without any comparisons at all.
The two won't compare anyway---The new one will be too different to actually be a remake--it is just going to have the same the same name--no big deal, and nothing to be done about it.

Your petition will not stop a great big Hollywood film being made that will make millions of dollars in profit!

Remakes are vile BUT they will make sure a whole new generation of viewers will check out the original.

Also, Paramount might release the TV version on DVD with lots of extras to coincide with the new movie's theatrical release. Or maybe thats wishful thinking on my part
