Ya have to wonder if you are away for like 5 days without posting if you can make 25 posts in one day. :D

ya im with si-lee, ypu guys dont know what your talking about, you cant just post as much as you want, cause then there would be alot of work for are moderators. also there would be alot of stupid posts and threads from people who are trying to get to another gang every day

yeah while i understand the need to limit post amounts, i just wish it was more of like a weekly percentage type of thing. it seems like there will be a couple days of only 1 or 2 good new threads then bam! one day theres tons of good stuff to respond to, but you can only post 5 times. then the next day (or after midnight depending how bad yer jonesing for some warriors interaction) when you get back to reply on the posts you didn't get to....someone else said what you wanted to already. grrr i hate that! can you dig it?

there never used to be a limit on the number of posts a member could make. but like 'the rogue' stated, when this forum got popular there were a lot of people that tried to make warrior rank in a couple days. it seemed like everytime i got on the forum there were pages and pages of posts to read, after awhile i thought i was going to go blind from all the reading. most of the responses were just a few words like, 'ya, i agree' or something unrelated to the topic like, 'the warriors rule'. the forum was made for thoughtful discussions and people were abusing it.

there is a specific reason for the 5 post rule.

this isn't simply a message board where comments come and go.

myself, others at warrior status (or there abouts) and especially the warchiefs actually try to respond to every post, as many questions are asked that require feedback. Therefore, too much posting makes it difficult to respond to everyone.

secondly. rushing to get your posts number up to race through the gangs is not looked favourably upon. that is a fact, trust me.

You know, if history(around here) proves anything it's this: Some people show up and are like a newly discovered river. Constant and steady. Others show up like a swimming pool that popped. A rush of volume and then adios amigos. "King of Pop" comes to mind. So respect the rule, but even if there was no rule, a lot of folks post themselves out in a matter of days anyway. "May old acquaintance be forgot....."

right on.

and to add to that, there are scouts that go around checking peoples average posts per day (like the wolf himself)

so you wont go un-noticed. ;)
