OK Does anybody remember a show called "Renegades"? It was about this gang that had been rehabilitated and was helping the cops. I don't remember who was in it but I remember a Warrior-like vibe. I think it was cancelled in 8 episodes.

Well they might as well try the concept again considering the crapola that is on TV. It shouldn't be too hard to present The Warriors as the good guys in a series

and back in the day i remeber seeing a ad in the back of one of my books for the outsiders tv show, of course none of the actors in the move were in it, it looked dumb and kinda made me mad like they were gonna mess up a good thing. i never did see any of them, did anyone? any good?

OHH WILLIAM ZABKA AS AJAX?! Lol he was hott. I think he could do it  And he's also from the Karate Kid.Scurvy Dog wrote: I was going to start a new topic about this, but I thought I remembered this discussion. Anyway, what I have to say is only somewhat related, but I didn't want to start a new topic for it.
I was thinking the other day just how horrible a Warriors-based TV show would be. Could you imagine a weekly series on NBC sometime around 1981?
Here's your cast:
Doug McKeon as Swan (the kid from the movie "On Golden Pond" and several after school specials)
Todd Bridges as Snow
Ralph Macchio as Rembrandt
Jason Bateman as Vermin
Scott Baio as Cowboy
William Zabka (1980s movie bully) as Ajax
Alfonso Rebeiro as Cochise
Valerie Bertinelli as Mercy
Not sure who they'd cast as Cleon or The Fox - maybe they'd leave them out, since they are presumably dead.
This is the horror that a Warriors TV show may have turned into.

A Warriors TV show, well I don't think anything can stand up to the orignal, but I'd watch it even still.

I agree that William Zabka would be Ajax and Valerie Bertinelli as Mercy...yet I wonder if she would be able to do a New Yorker accent...however I don't agree with the rest of them...and I don't agree there should be a Warriors-based show...what would happen every week...a fight every week? would they fight crime? a gang fighting crime? what ever it is it there won't be much meaning left in the show and the movie version...I don't see it working for a whole season...but I'm not surprised that there was an idea back in the 80s...there would always seem to be ideas and then canceled way before 6 months...if they were to come up with it now I would watch it...depending on how good it is...just for curiosity sake...

I think if they made a TV show it wouldn't work out very well. I can't even think up ideas for at least 3 freakin' episodes! But people can dream can't they?
