Hey Tantive 7, riddle me this.

You are correct. Can you tell me what Riki called the hold. Translated please :)

Sasori-gatame (Scorpion hold).
All I can say is dang. Japanese word included. My hats off.

But one question remains. One that has yet to be answered. And before the cigar is handed and the accolades awarded it must be answered.

Who used it first: Bret Hart or Sting?

I concede on this, I will have to dig deeper in the realm of wrestling. And I have to stop talking like some freaking Bobby Heenan knock off here.

Well, this is really tough, and the only way to answer it would be to make an educated guess.

* Sting debuted in NWA in 1988 as a singles wrestler (he was previously a member of "The Blade Runners" with the Ultimate Warrior in UWF.

* Later in 1988, Bret Hart moved on to singles competion after turning face during a fued with Bad News Brown.

Now, I really don't remember Bret using the sharpshooter too much as a finisher when he was in the Hart Foundation. They had a tag team combo type of finisher, where as Sting used the Scorpion Deathlock from the get-go. And since Sting went into singles competion first.......................

I'd go with Sting.

ANd finally,
4.Ole Anderson had a great idea for the first big heel that the new WCW Champion Sting would face in 1990. What was the name of this heel. (HInt: It ain't SId Vicious) and who did Ole eventually get to play this heel?

1.Before HArlem Heat debuted in WCW, they were given a gimmick by then head of WCW "Cowboy" Bill Watts. What was that gimmick?

The only other gimmicks Harlem Heat had were "The Huffman Brothers" and "The Ebony Experience." Booker T went with the ill advised gimmick "G.I. Bro" for a while.
2. What was the name of the short lived tag team that had a thing for bells.

The Ding-Dongs. Another Jim Herd fiasco. No wonder he wound up working at Pizza Hut.

3. Jim Herd had a great idea for a tag team. A tag team that could never be pinned due to a certain feature. What was the name of this idea? And bonus:WHo convinced HErd that this was a lame idea?

Jim Herd's unpinnable tag team would have been "The Hunchbacks". They couldn't be pinned due to their backs not being able to touch the mat because of their humps. Both Ric Flair & Kevin Sullivan were at war with Herd over his Lame ideas.

4.Ole Anderson had a great idea for the first big heel that the new WCW Champion Sting would face in 1990. What was the name of this heel. (HInt: It ain't SId Vicious) and who did Ole eventually get to play this heel?
That would be 'The Black Scorpion". The wrestlers who portrayed the Black Scorpion were Ole Anderson, Al Perez, David Sheldon, and the wrestler who Sting eventually unmasked as the Black Scorpion - Ric Flair.

Very good job. you got most if not all the answers right. But it really was no fair on my part for a couple.
1. Cowboy Bill WAtts brought what would become Harlem HEat in and put them in house shows to see how the gimmick he came up with would work. To say it didn't go over well is puttin git mildly as they only ever did one house show. He had them managed by Col. Rob Parker and they were a tag team with a slave gimmick. I crap you not.

3. You got it right. Mostly. Flair and Kevin Sullivan had big problems with Herd. Especially Flair. But neither of those two convinced Herd that the Hunchbacks were a lame idea. THe man with the amizing insight was the "Enforcer" Arn Anderson, who was quoted as saying. "So I can't pin 'em. What's to keep me from snapping their {expletive deleted} ankle and making them submit. All in all very well done. I give you kudos. Congrats all around.

Ok, sports fans a new round is on the way.

1. Flair wound up playing the Black Scorpion. What was ironic about this?

2. Who was the last NWA champion on WCW to defend the title in Japan?

3. Explain the WCW World Title/WCW International Title fiasco. What was the WCW INternational Title? WHat were it's other names? Why were there two World Titles in one promotion?

4. Was Rick RUde ever a World Title holder?

5.Name the VOn Erich brothers in order from oldest to youngest.

Bonus: WHo were the last WCW Cruiserweight Tag Team Champions.
