In the City was the real reason I first saw the Warriors. I'm a huge Eagles fan and I loved the song. When I heard it was the theme to a movie, I just had to see it. Turns out I liked the movie better than the song. Go figure.

ether the open theme or the furies chase music, both are classic and no matter what, when you hear um you ONLY think about the warriors movie....even peopel who see the movie and are not hardcore only thing this movie when they hear those anywhere else

(like this last VMA's that had the furies chase music)

In the City. When they're out looking at the ocean and that's playing it ends the movie beautifully. Joe Walsh all the way man.

my favourate song in the movie is either in the city or last of an ancient breed but you only hear a second of it

Love the guitar riffs in the furies chase...which is the same song at the begging when they are talking and your like on the train going along the tracks? In the city is an amazing song one good reason to watch the credits. When does this Last of an Ancient Breed song play in the movie??

absolutely!!! simply classic!!

there's a lot of good music on the soundtrack, but the theme and the rest of the devorzon stuff, is infamous!!
ahead of it's time!!!
i know people who see the movie the first time now, and hate the movie, love the music!!

i did notice however, when you "listen" the theme, on a cd or something, it doesn't have the same power, or energy, as it does when you "watch" it, in the movie!!!

This movie has 4 spots where, for me, the music and visual image merge perfectly to create the emotion of the moment. The opening train ride, the Furies chase, Love is a Fire, and In the City.
