Did the movie inspire the birth of gangs where you live ?

Post by Moonrunner75 »

I live in a small-size urban centre (Pisa, is where the leaning tower is leaning). After boys of my generations saw the movie on TV (it should be about the the middle eighties) some gangs actually formed along the suggestions of the movie. I remember three of them. The warriors was a baby-gang, but I guess the most exciting thing they ever did was to throw stones into windows. A friend of mine used ot be in it, and most of them later joined a heavy metal fan group giving up gang-mockery. Another was was called the wanderers, from that other film, and they still exist as a football fan club meeting in arenas just to start up fights with other groups. Hooligans, in other words. The third was called the blacklords, but it was just three of them eventually. However, the blacklords did vandalize an empty school at nightime. A friedn of mine took part in that act, as well.
What about you ?
