Where are all the female fans??? Am I the only one?
The best song on there I think is the one the Lizzie chicks are dancing to
and the music when the warriors are gettin chased by the baseball furies!

Love is a Fire. That is a good song. The artist name is Genya Ryan. I have an old cassette tape of the Warriors soundtrack.
Also on a side note it says that Barry DeVorzon and Joe Walsh produced and wrote the title track, In The City.
A&M Records Hollywood, California.

I know a lot of you aren't too happy about going out on patrol. Just remember this. Out of a street family of 120 plus affiliates, you were chosen for this expedition and that makes you special!

(Pic of Mercy for now but I am a guy lol)
I think the reason why there aren't many "hardcore" female fans (I do know girls who like the movie but aren't real "big" fans) is because so many of today's "liberated" women wouldn't like the tome of the film. After all, it is very un-PC, very "manly" and "macho" where even to some degree the men "fight" over the girl Mercy (like Swan taking her in his arm after they get on te subway after the Orphans' thing). The scene where the Warriors were all going to "pull a train" on her is more macho-ness, 70's style.
"The Warriors" is full of bad boys doing their things, scoring chicks, busting heads, fighting over territories.
I do think, however, that truly liberated women are not frightened or threatened by a film like "The Warriors" and can enjoy is for what it is, a great movie.
"Love Is A Fire" is my fave song on the soundtrack (although the remake of "Nowhere To Run" is really good).

Yeah, I am a female too. I love the Warriors and it's a show I have to see at least once a month. James REmar and Michael Beck were hotties in that show.

James Remar is still a hottie. I recently saw him in the Grid and The North Shore and he looks just as hot now as he did 25 years ago. I recently saw Michael Beck in an episode of Walker Texas Ranger. He still looks fine too.Cowboy wrote:hahahahahah LOLThe Green Meanie wrote:Now they're in they're mid-50's. One friend who loves "Sex and the City" showed me a clip of Remar after I told her he was in The Warriors, and yes he does still look really good. Definitely does not have to go faggot.
