Why was there a candy shop not only in the middle of no were it is open in the middle of the night near gang turf. it must get robbed alot (u see the shop when luther is on the phone)

not eve an orphan would knock off a candy shop man. gas station maybe but not a candy shop they might wreck the place but not rob it

That looked like a newspaper/magazine stand to me.
And they usually have some assorted stuff.

It could also be catagorized as a liquor stand, or it may be a gas station u just don't see the pumps

There are lots of little bodega type stores in NYC that are open all the time. They sell candy, cigarettes, soda and liquor, etc... The real question is why the girl didn't reach for the shotgun that you know is under the counter! ;)

Actually, you can see a guy filling up the Orphan Mobile when they all get back in the car.

In some cases, those bodega style shops sell under the counter things as well. If there is an established base of customers who know who holds the strings, the store will generally be left alone. Then if someone does make a mistake, there are consequences.

Ah, i love it i must agree, if i was working that i would definatly expect a shotgun and an ak47 to be under counter :lol:

:lol: Yeah, that makes sense, but I guess there's suposed to be only one gun in the .whole movie, and it's held by the bad guy. You don't even see cops shooting anybody.

i like the style of those shops you guys have in america ,we dont have anything like that here in OZ,that shop blends in so well with the apartments and homes around it
