Should Cleon have died so early?

No! Definitely not killed. Cleon should have been knocked out and captured. And reappeared only on the beach to face the Rogues. That would have been so awesome. But I accept what Walter did.

I wonder how his girlfriend acted..

cleon didnt deserve to get killed : ( he was my fav character, then i had to switch to snow. I wouldve rather have had cleon killed more dramatically, not just some giant elbow smash. Like, he fends the turnballs off while the warriors run. That wouldve had more of an impact in my opinion.

i dont think he should have because he was one of the best (if not the best, but we dont know since he DIED SO EARLY IN THE MOVIE) i say no because he was cool, original war cheif, and he should have lived longer so we could see more of him what what he can do.

I think Cleon was Warlord. Warchief was the second in command.

Even after seeing it a 100 times I still hope he gets away. Quess he had to go to make Swan and Ajax the man but he's still missed.

It's hard to say "yes" because Cleon is a great character and a popular leader. But I think he had to die to make the movie what it was. For one, that feeling you get when you see him attacked, that's important to have the whole movie, so you can feel the way you do when Luther get's his. Also, Ajax doesn't go against Cleon. At least, I don't think he would. And, while I think Swan is great, I don't think Cleon handles the park situation the same. I see Cleon fighting Ajax before leaving him there.

I agree.

You would not have had the tension between Swan and Ajax if Cleon had survived.

Ajax did what Cleon said and never talked back to him.

I was crucial for the Warrior leader to be eliminated to kick start the rest of the main plot where someone takes command, makes decisions and leads them out.

it never realy botherd me that cleon got killed so early until i played the videogame. he was such a good character it would have been great if he had followed the rest of the warriors.

Agreed. I think that after I played the game I kinda wished that Cleon had a bigger part in the movie. But on the other hand his missing from the movie played a big part as well as it showed right from the beginning what the Riff's intentions truly were and who they beleived killed Cyrus. Like I had mentioned there are probably alot of ppl who played the game first so they expected him to last longer during the movie. Oh yeah great to have recent pics of him on this site too.

After playing the game, it makes me wish that Cleon would have lasted longer all the more. However, it does make the Warriors more of an Under Dog. I mean the guy took out the Rogues by himself before he caught the surprise kick to the face by one of the Riffs.

If Cloen hadnt died than there would be half the blogs happening: what happens after, who should be warloard after swan, etc. if cleon hadnt died, the riffs would have more respect, not oodles more, but some for getting home though they fought like 70 out of liike 600,000 or how evermany. cleon was a good warchief but not a good leader, he was too cautious, dont get me wrong im not saying ajax or cochise are leader material with thier ego, temper and high headedness, i just think that it was good for cleon to die, swan take over and there be some controversy about whats gonna happen next.
