Gonz, New Yorkers mustn't think Republicans are so bad, after all, the last two mayors and the govenor are all on the right! (I'm an Independent btw, not a Republican.) Although Mayor Mike is just a democrat in diguise LOL.

But seriously, it was a disgrace tho' with the anti-Republican protestor's completely detestable behavior during that convention though. They made NYC residents look like animals and fed that anti-NYC notion across the nation with their horrible behavior for all to see on the TV news. Over 1000 arrests for all sorts of crimes including beating police, for a political party that claims to advocate peace, love and most of all tolerance for the other guys opinion, the democrats sure don't practice what they often like to preach unfortunately. It was the perfect chance for the democrats to have some class and decorum and prove to everyone that they actually do practice what they preach, and they totally blew it and revealed themselves to be totally the opposite. Hey, protest all you want - that's great, I've done my share too. But over 1000 arrests, beating policemen and hitting others who simply disagree with you, causing riots, the democrats have a real lot to learn about peace and tolerance themselves it appears. So really the only gang at the Republican Convention was the one in the streets causing all sorts of trouble, beating police and getting arrested over 1000 times because they were violent. All of Cyrus' gangs would have had a hard time with that bunch!

At the conclave the gangmembers seem more like a death cult for Cyrus than street toughs. When Luther fires the shot it seems to bring them all back to their senses. Come to think of it The 'Riffs seem more like a cult as well. I guess The Warriors is a cult movie in more way than one. Get it? Cult Movie? Get it? Get it?

Never would have happened. The gangs would have felt they where better and started waring amungst them selves. Also the National Guard would have been called in to stop the "riots" or uprising. So would the FBI and other Law enforcment agenceis (right???? idk)

I had no idea that there was a riot thingy... i watch the news everyday... and have since i was a kid, but there is so much crap that goes on in america its hard to distinguish one from another.
