yet another great ruined

Post by warrior mike »

well, i cannot be any more angry at people thinking they can remake something that cannot be remade, because its like (for example) the pink panther, a true great film that will be mocked by this new remake.  can we not somehow stop the film ever being made? suggestions?

no, we cant. Hollywood is all about the money, and that is the key way to make money. It will never stop. :(

I used to think as you do. But a few things changed my thinking.

1. This film IS NOT A REMAKE.
2. I've decided to give it a chance before bashing it. you never know, it will be alot different but it could be good in its own way.
3. If its bad, its bad. Is this really going to change your personal view on the Warriors?

So yeah. I'll see it in theatres and i may leave unhappy but if i do ill just go home and throw the warriors on and wash it all away.

Tony Scott isn't on this website just to let you know! I think I'll see the movie just to make fun of it.

what i like in the warriors is not the violence,it's a great story.i don't think this movie is gonna be as good as the warriors because there is gonna be a lot more violence,as in all modern action films, but then again,it's not really a remake.

I think we should look on the bright side i mean in The Warriors (the original) they avoided most Gangs with ease.
i think this will have alot more realistic running scenes.
I just hope they dont try to "Modern day" "Ghangsta" it up, because that would just ruin it horribly.

i haved mixed feelings on this thing.......    when i first found out i was all like "ah BOLLOCKS", just typical of all the big wigs over in america to cash in on The Warriors new found publicity, (with the game an all)....   it'll never stop.   we've passed the point of no return in this issue of the world today. why cant people just 'Keep it Real'.
Seen as its not a remake and it aint set in the same place and none of the same gangs and people are gonna be in it. it leaves me to think that the only thing that will 'get wrecked', is the good Warrior name.
When it comes out i'll see it and see what i think, but Nothing (and i dont think im alone here) Nothing could EVER compare to the one and only original              THE WARRIORS.

The remakes based more on the book.
