Most Organized Gang

Post by Deacon »

Okay, so I know the Riffs were almost military-like in their organization. From the single file assemblies, to the speak-on-command stuff.

But other than that, who do you think is the most organized or most profitable among the gangs in the Warriors universe. I vote for the Savage Huns, cuz in the game they have a gambling ring, drug peddling networks, and business ties to the Riffs and Satan's Mother's.

Definately The Riffs.  For the biggest gang in NYC there also the most organized, which may be why there so dominant.

Ok first of all dont combine the Game to the Movie which is a mistake. So if gonna post this topic might as well put this in game fourm. Well in the movie i think it is the Baseball Furies or Lizzies. Baseball Furies casue they knew the Warriors were gonna be at the train station. Lizzies the same and aslo had a gameplan which didn't work out to good.

I realize that there are canonical issues between the game and the movie, but you only get a single shot of most gangs in the movie, so I figure the game supplies more backstory.

Also, I think you misunderstood me. What I meant by organization is making money. Getting to the business side of crime, not just fighting other gangs.

This is a hard question. I think it's one of those things that just seems to not have enough evidence to figure it out. Because I don't feel right comparing the game to the movie, and as we all know, the movie doesn't really allow us to get to know the gangs that are involved. In the game it shows more about gangs involved and not involved in the film, but that's not how it is, that's just what Rockstar made up using their imaginations...so I'd have to say that I am unsure for a decision on this one. But The Riffs did have a great organization system, from what was shown in the film.

There's just no way of telling much of anything abut the gangs from the dialogue in the movie.  The game was done 35 years later and has pretty much nothing to do with anything.

Yes.. I too think the game shouldnt be compared to the movie. Although, id say the furies are the most organised, from the way the run, to the way they fight. Street smarts are very present in there gang. You could tell lots of the other gangs were disorganised "packs." The Warriors were like brothers, but some of the gangs were just hoods, j.d's etc.

turnbulls are pretty organised with them bein in their buses and all but the baseball furies have gotta be organised the best (apart from the fact the dont block the warriors route but block the huge main road) they stay in formation when chasin the warriors and they can all near enough keep runnin for the same amount of time

I'd say the Warriors are the most organised. Because the way Cleon chooses the 9 delegates, it gives them an advantage in all ways. A scout, an artist, heavy muscle, soldiers in the middle. As a unit they were pretty solid. Also the way they always manage to get away from everyone. They must be able to communicate well and therefore are organised.

Riffs, no doubt. They had all kinds of ranks.
