That I am. If you want to post an image onto a message board, or anywhere else, you need somewhere to host it. Normally, your ISP gives you some space, but I've found that third-party hosts are a little easier and give you more storage space. Check out photobucket.com.

Yes that is me in the photo with a few additions courtesy of the simple program paintbrush. Well after a few dates that have just not had a spark I'm totally with you to stop looking and perhaps your theory on when you don't look is when you may be surprised. Oh well I hope so.

The Green Meanie has it spot on about image hosting and he is the one to ask as I'm not overly computer savvy but if you are talking about uploading a pic to use as your own avatar then that is simple in editing your profile the key is size ( isn't that always the way

) if you make the pic smaller than 120 x 120 pixels you can upload the image. I just used the stretch and skew option in Paintbrush and saved as jpeg but I am sure you can do it with nearly any image viewing program.

yes, for the avatars there is a place in profiles to upload. when you make your picture, be sure that it is NO larger than 120 x 120 and 10KB, if it is then the server will not accept it. the photos that i sometimes add at the bottom of the message are uploaded to photobucket (free acct) first. after i upload them there's a button that you can click to get the HTML code to paste into this part, where you type your reply. it's pretty easy.

as far as graphics prgs. i use adobe photoshop and sometimes paintshop pro. i'm not sure what you can do with ms paint because i haven't looked at that prg in a couple years; but i will check it out for you.

i was using the mask because it's carnival down here (until next tuesday) in new orleans. i just thought i'd put up a new one; no particular reason except that i thought it looked cool. i'm working on a photo of me for the avatar, but they look so distorted when i shrink them down. not to mention i don't have very many pics of myself because i'm always behind the camera.

I am visiting New Orleans in April. I planned it with missing the festival in mind for the reasons Meanie points out. I've certainly seen that Cops episode enough!

bourbon st. isn't the only party going on during carnival. the whole city and surrounding suburbs are one big block party. it is very fun!! i've had friends and relatives that don't drink, down here to vist during carnival, and they had an absolute blast. bourbon st. does have a lot of drunk frat boys cutting up but there are plenty of other places to go (family places) and have a great time. usually we are on one of the hotel balconies down on bourbon for mardi gras, that's the BEST place to be, above the crowd, watching all the tourists act foolish. i'm sure you'd have a good time if you came down for mardi gras.

hey gonzo, if you have some free time, look me up when you come to town.

I'm sure I would be one of those foolish tourists that the locals laugh at if I ever got the chance to go. If I ever go to the U.S. though I gotta go see those Warrior filming locations.

Hahaha... I have actually seen the episode of COPS where they are in New Orleans... that made me laugh... But i'd want to go for the music and atmosphere, it looks and sounds amazing, not just during carnival but all the time... looks awesome...

Well, personally, probably the Warriors, coz they made it home by bopping all the way... thats a preetttyyy good achievement if you ask me... but besides them, probably the Gramercy Riffs just so i could answer "Yeah Right!" hahaha... nah, they are pretty heavy in terms of soldiering... but I guess being girl the Lizzies lok appealing. They are a pretty heavy outfit, for chicks... so yeah I'd be in that.... yeah...
