I think I might avoid this game. I hear it is good but short and quite easy. I'm hoping someone will tell me if it is better than Mafia or not!  8)

Along with BLACK, this was a game I was planning on getting first thing when it was released, but when I started reading the reviews in that it was short, repedetive and linear, I thought I'd wait 'till a price drop.

Who can afford to pay 600kr for a new game that lasts 10 hours now a days anyway?!

I just rented this game and ill tell you what i think. Its short and easy, Only took me 2 days to complete, Not much variety from mission to mission. And allot of fun. It is a good game with an average amount of stuff to do. But once you beat the main story missions it gets repetitive because you go around taking over bussines after bussines after bussines. So my verdict-

Wait till the price drops then get this game. (20 - 30$ is good)

It's a shame that many games now just try to stick in a campain/story mode that lasts about 10-12 hours then leave it at that. Lasting appeal come on now! Unlockable characters, multiplayer, unlockable maps new game modes and so on.

Two good examples and The Warriors and God Of War. In The Warriors, whoch would have still been an excelent game with just the story, which lasted me about 20 hours, better than most games we had all the glorious rumble unlockables and game modes.

In God Of War there were loads of vidoes, concept art, challenge modes and various other things to unlock and give you reason to play it again on a harder mode.

I don't buy a 600kr game to finish it over a weekend. Come on game developers! Give mne a reason to reply the game! [/rant]

It is better than Mafia but is still too short and has more or less no replay value.

Overall its a good game to rent but dont buy it unless your confident you'll get a full refund

i havent tried this out yet cause im not done the game but if you are on a mission with the don and you need to save him from getting killed let him get killed and the game will still continue when he is dead but with differnt missions and a different story.
We're gonna make it back. We came this far and we're gonna make it the rest of the way!

I rented it and I like it mostly because I don't do the missions but just walk around the area and explore. I like getting stores for the corleones from the rival families. Also if anyone could help with me PM me? I can't find a specific warehouse if you take it over from the Tatagalia family and you gain little italy. If anyone knows where it is please PM me.

I brought the game,And I feel like it's too short like for example
this scene
ImageImage
Image
In The videogame to me just seem, like it was missing something to me
And I was just disappointed that there is no sign of Al Pacino
Image
Image
And it's not even his likeness at all, that sucked to me,and after I got bored with it.
And then I just popped in
The Godfather Trilogy DVD..
Image
It's still all good..
