Does anyone ever wonder what the Riff leader looks like without his shades. All throughout the film he wears those mirror shades and never takes them off. I often wonder what he looks like without them.
adios,
adios,

Well they are big shades. Maybe he had a lazy eye or something and the crew told him to wear them, hehehe

He also has a big tummy don't you think? I wonder if in a real rumble he would be as tough as he sounds. Hehehehe.

I think it was to add to the mystique.wonderwheel wrote:Does anyone ever wonder what the Riff leader looks like without his shades. All throughout the film he wears those mirror shades and never takes them off. I often wonder what he looks like without them.

The shades aren't that dark, I don't think...I thought I could see thru them when I looked close enough. I'll have to see though

I reckon he's cross-eyed, and he's very sensitive about it, so he keeps his shades on at all times. Even in the bath.

I always thought the one shot where he seems to be showing off his belly with his hands on his waist is kinda funny. He's not huge but he shouldn't be showing that belly so blatently, he doesn't have a six-pack, more like almost a full case lol.LATEM wrote:He also has a big tummy don't you think? As far as the shades go, I'm sure he just wears them to be "cool" and to keep his "mystique."
Big Cyrus. He was gonna run the whole city...what crap that was.

And while he's having sex (with shades on) he yells out "Riffs!" and the resounding response scares the chick.Gramercy Lord wrote:I heard that he keeps them on during sex as well.....

All very funny posts, gave me a laugh. He wears them because they make him look damn cool, end of story. He takes them off while showering though.
It's just the greatest Movie ever made ... end of story.
