Director's cut question

Post by R13 »

Now, exactly who provides the voice for the opening narration about the journey of the Greeks?

Walter Hill, ain't it? I'm not really into those cartoon bits on the director's cut. Some bits are cool, but i think it takes something away from the part when Swan, Ajax, Snow and Cowboy run into the Baseball Furies. But hey, that's just me.  :|

I refused to buy it when I heard about the changes Hill had made to the film.  If ever a movie did not have to be touched or altered in any way, it's The Warriors.

I ended up buying the 2001 DVD with the original print of the film.  I'd recommend it.  The color is great and the sound, while not awesome, sounds good on a home theater system.  And you get the actual movie, without Hill's f***ing around...
Cleon dying was a huge blow.  Swan was able to pick up the slack and lead a very tough gang home through hell.

i dont watch it for the mess they made with it i watch it for the pure enjoyment of the film itself.
