Collecting Things

Post by The Fox »

I'm a self confessed collector and i love it.

The things i concentrate on most are:

Warriors Merchandise - I have just about everything you can get from the original release. Trust me i do!

Boxing Tickets - Original tickets from Tyson, Hagler, Leonard fights etc.

Other film merchandise from John Carpenter films and Death Wish.

Now your turn!

Anything Garbage Pail Kids. Stickers, Key-Rings and I even have a tub full of Topps Bubblegum. Lovely. I did start collecting Bazooka Joe's but my local shop stopped selling them...
I have a massive Hip-Hop CD collection that I've had to sort through and move to the loft recently, coz I've gotta make room for me & my girlfriends baby that's on the way! Oh well, fair trade I suppose!  :D

Oh, and anything with Simon Pegg in it. Spaced (Series 1 & 2), Shaun Of The Dead, Big Train (Series 1 & 2), Jam & Brass Eye...

Have quite a collection of Warriors stuff myself and truly I plan on never stopping till its complete. ;)

Love the old 1962 Mars Attacks cards. Have completed the set over the years in low to med grade and may be my fav possesion? If I could go back in time this would be the first thing I would change (not let my mom throw these away and save more!) 650 Kawasaki, Warriors stuff and this are the three things I'll take to my grave!!

Dad and I both had a stamp collection in my youth and a few so called friends I believe ripped me on it (long story) so ebay has replaced that with a even better set for pretty cheap. (Mostly low cost commons) but fun to look at.

Am also a big fan of Ed Roth models. Rat Fink, Mr Gasser, Mothers Worry etc. Used to read all the old Hot Rod cartoons magazines, popular hot rod, hot rod etc and have a few from my old days, garage sales and a few from ebay.

Don't remember the Johnny West stuff SHM but I like it and am glad you get a kick out of it.

This is some fun stuff and for me seems like it gets more important the older you get. :?

I collect sunglasses, my most valuable are Bono's THE FLY sunglasses, it took me 15 years to get them. Also WW II war plane models, old school basketball wristbands, music, movies and Bjorn Borg memorabilia.

I collect:
knives and swords - got a few and continuing my collection as well. Some awesome stuff there!
Comic books - I have quite a few comics and I really love 'em. Great reading.
CDs - In todays day and age with all the downloaing I guess you can say I collect CD's. I've got over 200 which IMO is a pretty big collection for a 17 year old.

That's about it I guess :D
SUPER HAPPY PINEAPPLE MAN!
