i agree with emissary, they are all wearing black pants, and all the rogues look really happy after the meeting like when luthers on the phone they're all grinning, none are looking a bit depressed

I think people are clutching at straws with the Rougue theory. Gangs have respect even between themselves and he just wanted to do the right thing.

The whole reason they had every gang after them was because they all thought they had shot Cyrus. The snitch wanted to make sure that the right gang got blamed.
Good point, and im sure his gang is in the Riff's good books for a little bit.

That's how I saw it. He was just some random gang member from some random gang that wanted to do the right thing, which was telling The Riffs the facts. I wouldn't say he was a 'snitch' either. You can almost imagine him explaining to the rest of his gang what he saw, who then instructed him to go tell The Riffs who the real killer was & earn a few brownie points for the trouble.  :)

i dont think it was a rogue my theory is that it was probably someone not in a gang but still knew about the network in all or possibly on the riffs payroll a friend of their's who is used as an extra pair of eyes.

Even if he was in a gang he was bound to take his colors off becuase someone would find out that, that gang had snitches but then agian everyone was trying to gett the warriors so who knows. Or maybe it was a civilian that sneaked it there wasnt anyone stoping mebers from coming in

To start off i would like to say that i never thought of Luther as a gang leader (how would he be able to keep a gang together?).  I always thought of him as more of a warchief and the real leader of the rogues was always "staying in the dark" so to speak.  So i think that the rogues never had a plan to shoot Cyrus.  Luther just did it. Then when the real leader found out about this he realized how serious the matter was.  He knew that if the riffs ever found out that it was them the whole gang would be destroyed.  So he sent one of his men(hell, it could even have been the leader himself) to snitch on that section of the rogues.  So only those nine would be killed and the rest would have a chance at being safe from the Gramercy Riffs.

Thats just my idea.

every ones wrong! the rouge didnt snitch, because it would have made the story way too complex. plus he wasnt wearin any colours.what leader would want ta hide. and the warriors and the rouges and all the other gangs were not a 9 man strong gang. thats pathetic. there was only 9 deligates invited to the meeting. sure the warriors are 120+ members.

Look we know there was more than 9 gang members. We established that ages ago. Now as far as this 'snitch' is concered I have two theorys.

1) He was a random gang member whi happened to be in a situation like the Fox was except he wasnt seen by Luther

or

2) The snitch was sent by or was someone higher up in the Rogues. We can see from Luthers character that he was an a-hole and that he never cared for his gang. And the other Rogues were close followers of Luther as they never once opposed him. So I think that the Rogues were getting sick of Luthers ways and gave him the opportunity to escort the gang there, telling him to shoot Cyrus, therefore the important Rogues  wouldn't have to attend his meeting as it would fall apart. So basically it was a set up.

Just my thoughts.

If Luther was a total jerk, imagine the higher source.

Oh well, maybe I'm just looking too much into the movie.

Cheers!
do you really gotta use the word fag in an offensive way bro? i realize its a popular term in the movie but those were different times.
I meant to be offensive towards the Rogue not any group of people.  FYI in New York's lingo, when someone calls a guy a fag it usually means  that the guy is disliked or acts as a total jerk.

Of course, it is a shame that a particular noun (unfairly linked to gays) is used in a broader sense.

¡Salud!

I cant believe you guys didnt notice he's obviously from the  :idea:Gladiaters ...... you can tell from the wardrobe! what botlles me is the fact that he swowed up alone in the Riff's turf. if he said one wrong thing heed get elbowed to death :-({|=!!! or maybe his boys were waiting outside! i know im off topic but i wouldnt want to start a whole new topic just to say that! but any way hes from the gladiaters and does not fit the rogue description at all!
