It's FUTBOL not FOOTBALL. The term FOOTBALL is or has at least become uniquely applied to American football.

I too hate FUTBOL or soccer but if it your game then more power to you.

To me and a lot of Europe it's football but, you can call it what you want! My original reply was in jest.

However, l don't think i'd go as far as to say anyone is stupid for following a sport as that is somewhat narrow minded. If something has a big following it obviously has good points. I don't see the thrill of Ice Hockey but, millions do/did! Hopefully they will be back for next season!

American Football and Baseball are quality though. Go Bears/Reds (Yes i am a

soccer

for punishment)

Anyway this has gone on a bit much and i only made the comment for a bit of fun

huh, i live in chicago. and have loved the blackhawks since i learned 2 skate when i was 5. u wanna talk about a losing hockey team? how much time u got??

Well at least football never cancels a season because players strike for being too greedy. Damn hockey is great... so great they cancelled the season.

Bruce failed economics.

Hockey was locked out because the owners wanted a salary cap - a salary cap that could potetionally bankrupt some teams while others would become monoploistic tyrants. Its not because of greed. So before you go spouting off about something you don't know, do your research first.

This loss of an entire NHL season is all the Boston Red Sox fault. They win the world series in 1918... 1919 a full season of hockey is lost ..... they win in 2004..... 2005 another full season is lost
