Forum Names

[Jigsaw]

There is wayyyyy wayy way too many Ajaxs and Vermins and stuff on this site. I was wondering, due to confusion, should people be forced to change their names, or get banned if they don't? Because I forget who half the people are, ex. some names are as similar as Ajax123 and Ajax_123. If so, I will change my name, and if this doesn't go through, I think I may change my name anyway, seeing as its hard to have sigs without Vermin somewhere on it, considering my name is Vermin_2_2. Your opinion Mods?

P.S I know this has been discussed before, this is just an idea to go about fixing the problem.

I dont think there should be a rule against names in my mind. I think most people who have ajax in there name are here because of the game. So once the game passes, we might be able to get back to original names.

Yeah, true. Very true. Maybe I can just change my name, just so I don't get in the mix crowd. Maybe I will change it to AJ. Like AJ Soprano. My friends all call me AJ cause I watch Sopranos so much. haha.

i always thought that when people wanted a username e.g Ajax23 or sumthin they wouldnt be able to cos like there is probably someone with somethin like Ajax13 or Ajax24 and its too close to their username (confusing but i couldnt think of a better way to say it) i think all people who register for this forum with names such as this should be forced into making more original usernames and instead of having to ban them they could just be stopped at the source (registering)

Also, the reason why i personally thought to myself that i wasnt going to pick a character name was because it was almost disrespectful like that they r their own people/characters and as much as we want to we can never be them (stupid, i know)

All i can say is if there is any people looking to register on this forum and have seen this post please take it to heart 'be your own person'

Um...do you think coboy rules is like that? 'Cause there are'nt as there are Ajax's or Vermin's. I know Cowboy79 was like the original Cowboy but who thinks I should change mine?

No Cowboy Rules is fine you shouldn't change it, I mean it's your decision don't change because some one said that he is tired of seeing Character related names on the forum. Also Cowboy Rules their was a Cowboy before I got here so I was the second Cowboy. Any way Cowboy Rules I like your screen name you should keep it.

I would also just like to point out that i find stuff like Cowboy rules or Cowboy79 (obviously 1979, the year the film was relesed) to still be original just incase u thought i was discriminating against you

I've now changed my name to Mushroomhead3. Mushroomhead is my favourate band, so I though what the hell, why not!?
