Extras...

Post by LIPPY »

...by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant (the creators of The Office). I've only just got round to watching these and now I'm wondering why. It's hilarious!! I was watching the Samuel L. Jackson episode last night and laughed like a girl.  Good stuff.

Anyone seen them?

I liked the episode with Ben Stiller the best

Ben: Who are you?
Andy: Nobody
Ben: Nobody... and who am i?
Andy: Starsky or Hutch, i can never remember
Ben: Was that supposed to be funny?
Andy: I dont know you were in it

lol

Extras was really good. Looking forward to series 2.

Ross Kemp... Oh that killed me when Andy comforts him after being confronted by Vinnie Jones.  :)

I like the Samuel Jackson episode best though because of the bit when Maggie, Andy and his 'stalker' are standing in front of that grave and he's trying to pass it off as his dead mother's... Which then leads to Andy being "52 and Jewish"   :D

I love the way Ricky Gervais digs himself into deep dep holes and tries to recover and get out of it.

"Were you in Casualty?"

"Yes"

"The TV Show Casualty?"

"Well you didn't say that!"

He also claimed to star in another TV show and it turned out he showed his bus ticket to the conductor and that's it. The fact that it was a speaking role came down to him going "mm".
The one and only!
