I'd say the stones or the who. Saw the who last week and even tho they are about 60 and 2 of em are dead they still sounded good. Wish i could go back in time and see both bands at their peak with the original line ups.

Black Sabbath. Led Zeppelin. Foghat. Steppenwolf. CCR. Iron Maiden. Quiet Riot. The Doors. So on, and so fourth. Honestly, they are almost all good if they are 60's, 70's, and 80's rock.

I think the greatest "rock and roll" band has got to be between Aerosmith,Rolling Stones and Led Zepplin.For a bit heavier rock and roll is Black Sabbath.I love CCR,but they just weren't popular enough to keep up with the other bands.

Gotta go with Led Zeppelin, they always have been and will be till I die.

The Stones are top notch, detaiseled corn at the age of 14 and our grew boss loved....I can't get no satisfaction. Every time it came on he stopped the machine and cranked it up so I grew to love it to. Thank god wls out of chicago played it about 6 or 7 times a day.

To me anyway, seemed like in 62-63 the Stones and The Beatles were way out in front of anyone else. Both are god's gift.

Thought there half time show at the Super bowl was very! good and was a little teed off about the neg feedback some of the news channels were giving them about them being to old and outdated. A true super group.
