Strategies for Survival in Rumble Mode?

My record is about 37 minutes. I find the Punk leader Vance to be the best in survival mode. He hits hard, can take a lot of pain, and moves faster than the big guys if you need to back away from a crowd.

Pick a weak gang (or the Hobos if you really want to last long) to go up against. Best stage is Tremont, as it's a big area, with a lot of weapons including a machete and two petrol bombs.

i use Cobb against hobos/orphans. they fly like, five feet when i hit them with the double-bat :badgrin: "bunch of chicken-Shits"

I got over an hour as Cobb vs The Hobos in Tremont. I got bored and shut it off, otherwise I would've gotten a longer time. Also, you can survive for at least a little bit as anyone in the old junkyard. Just run around the level, looping around by jumping on things and such.

when i was doin a 2 player survival with a friend before i thought of usin cob, he was cyrus and i was a saracen, i did it in the baseball park and i found the best wepon there is the broom, my friend managed to get away of the pursuin pack that was after us after runnin around the park for a few times, but i got caught up and i took 1 swing with the broom and it took them all out, he l8ter got attacked by another group of furies and died  :badgrin:

You basically just need to have alrge level ( The Old Junkyard ) and run around the whole level, or you can hide inside the little room thingy. Theres also another place where you can hide and they can't get to you, even if they see you !( Its not the roof ).

man, i tried fighting the furies head on in rumble mode with swan and lasted 15 seconds lol

play as virgil as the destroyers coz his power move knocks the enmy down for quite a while, thn do it 2 a few more, then make a run for it and thn if you get caught do the same thing all over again, my longest time with virgil agasint the moonrunners was somin around 7 mins.

I used Vance against the moonrunners and I lasted 14 mins and 37 seconds. I kinda get intimidated when I go against the orphans and lose them in about three minutes. For example, I used snow and I lasted against the electric eliminators for only 4 mins. I felt embarassed cuz snow is suppose to be real heavy.

i used vargas against the lizzises in the old junkyard i just kept running and doind loops and stuff heres my time

Yeah i agree with swan 1979 that is so easy and if you are any other gangs fighting the baseball furies just run you last longer.
