Do you think it would really happen?

I was wonderin if the warriors was in real life and the same thing happened do you think they would have made it home? Because it's a movie and most movies the people survive but i dont think The Warriors would have survived cause every gang in NYC is looking to bust their heads.

I don't know. I think they could've stood a good chance of surviving until they got to the beach (the 6 that made it I mean), becuase I doubt Swan would've been able to dodge that bullet in real life. Then again, I haven't seen anybody when a 3-on-8 or 6-on-9 fight in real life either......or outrun a bus.

Well in the chase of the turnbull a c's they did outrun the bus but not by much because the riffs wanted the warriors alive i just think hey were getting close enough to hit them.

New York is a really big city. with many ways to get where you need to be. if they were smart it is possible. really it would be a throw of the dice, it wouldnt be a definate.

in my opinion, not one of the warriors would have made it. and any Warriors that happened to be at the Coney Island hangout would have had even less a chance. To be honest, if i was in a gang trying to get the warriors, i would go to their turf, wreck any warrior i saw and wait for the others. its simple logic to cut them off at their destination.

but it would have been very hard to cut them off. The entire city is in turmoile. You wouldnt be able to soldier down into there turf and bop them. You would have to go through other neighboring gangs territory also. And even if the Riffs sent a message i doubt gangs would have still been bothering with the truce. Also Warriors at the hangout would probably got the message and sent out patrols. It would have been the smart thing to do. But you never see any other Warriors throughout the movie. A lot of things didnt happened that probably should have.

I like your guys feedback but i really think they would have died maybe 1 or 2 got home but most likely they mostly would die. I mean look every gang is lookin for them every cop is lookin for them and there 27 miles behind enemy lines they sound pretty much a gonner to me.

i totally agree. the smart thing to do is stop beating around the bush and go to coney to kill em.

To beat the Warriors at their own clubhouse should be difficult.
Coney is the territory of the Warriors so they know the place...the Warriors hangout/clubhouse would be some sort of a bunker...
I mean the way they secure the place.
And I wonder how many soldiers the gang counts....in the first deleted scene Cleon spoke about 120+ ?

Anyway...to give my opinion 'on topic' :
In real it would be a different story I think...
Meeting other gangs when they are at full strength, all the soldiers packed with weapons ?
Try to survive that !

And the Riffs said : 'I want all the Warriors...I want them alive, if not...wasted !...but I want them'

IDk? If they actually faced the same gangs then I doubt most of them would make it past the AC's! and How could Ajax, Snow, and Swan defeat like 8 furies all carrying bats? Then Swan with the knife flinging it at Luther with the gun I doubt most if any of the warriors would have made it back alive.....

Yeah man.  Even though the Warriors are the toughest gang in New York or whatever, a gang that wanted to kill them could just go to a local gunshop or get some guns from their hangout and just go to coney shoot the warriors when they showed up, and that shoudl have been the end of it. And with the bus chase, even a peace of crap old GMC bus could catch up with the warriors if they really tried.  But, becuase it's a movie they can do whatever they want.

I think the only reason the Warriors survived was because the movie was called The Warriors. If it wasn't about them they would have been killed at the start. I mean, I don't know to many people who can out run a bus like that.  At that time in NY I think it would be fairly easy for the other gangs to get wepons. It was before alot of the Terror Actacks so they could just go into a sporting goods store and obtain some firearms pretty easily.
