What happened to the filming locations sticky?

Post by Bopper »

I rode the Wonder Wheel today down at Coney for the first time ever. That was cool! Walked on the boardwalk that the Warriors did. We also went up to Dinosaur Park at 97th and just off of Broadway, that was the conclave, it has changed a lot, it now has a bunch of playground equipment in it. I was hoping it would be barren. I took like 100 pictures which I had hoped to post, but my SD card got corrupted...what the hell is the chance of that...I hope to get back to the site of the conclave before we leave Tuesday to get new pics of that and the firemans memorial which the Warriors ran by when running from the furies.

Anyone know where the subway station is that the Turnbulls run into The Warriors? That looks like a pretty cool section of town.

If you ever get a chance to come to NYC in the summer, make sure you hit Coney Island, the Wonder Wheel is fun and The Cyclone is a lot harder ride than it looks! Felt really safe down there, it was a lot of fun.

Thanks,

Kevin

It was Broadway Junction Station in East New York, Brooklyn.

Those are some great pics, bopper.. Especially the park, it still basically looks the same.  You can just picture cyrus standing on the platform in the center there.

We are leaving NYC today, I got 2 more pics of Union Square. Cool station, the only one I have seen with the bars on the upper levels so you can see through, like where you see Swan walking and the train go by beneath him. The other is the ramp that the Punk skated back and forth down.

GREATEST MOVIE EVER!
