unidentified gangs
Awesome still. That's one mystery solved. Anyone found the Vancourtland Rangers. I saw a gang I think had army jackets( it wasn't the scene with the Lawrence Fishbourn guy) but another scene in the train and the jacket had red writing on the back but i couldn't read it even when i paused it. Anyone know who those guys are.
The guys in the Hawaian shirts don't look tough either.

I always thought that the gang known as the savage huns were called the kamakazis. it would make sense as they are wearing ww2 japanese fighter pilot uniforms.

I noticed that the "Savage Huns" appeared to be an all-asian gang as well, so that would make some sense. Those little pointed caps make them look a bit strange though.

Re: unidentified gangs
The Moonrunners are the guys with the silver jackets, you can seen them at the beginning coming through the turnstile.Hippy wrote: I pondered on this but I always thought the Moonrunners were those guys in the Shag rug looking vests that were light blue and the Vancourtlan Rangers were the ones with ?the ones with the Fedoras and striped shirts.
I think tough guys wore pink then too when I saw those guys in the pink tank tops and red shirts that opened the gate when the song Nowhere to Run was playing.
Yeah, for me that has always been one of the disappointments with the movie, the beginning of the "Nowhere to run" sequence. Those guys who throw open the chain link fence like they were really tough. I mean, they're wearing mesh tank tops. I think those are the kind of tank tops we used to wear back in grade school gym class when we had to break into teams. Whoa, intimidating.
Then those losers with the striped shirts and fedora hats. Looks like they got them from the young gangster line at KMart. And then there was the Hawaiian shirt gang. Sure.
They must have completely run out of budget or ideas or something when they got around to filming those scenes. Those gangs don't deserve to exist in the same city as the warriors.

Re: unidentified gangs
Ive been taking a bunch of screenshots recently and spotted a gang i never noticed before.

They are near the top of the screen and are wearing black T-shirts with a large skull on the front. I tried looking for them when i watched the movie last but its a case of blink and you miss them. All sugestions to a possible name for this group are welcome.

Re: unidentified gangs
yeah most gangs that dont have a big enough part to be named look pretty random i think they just put together some shirts they found in the back shed and said get another 9 of these and were all good

The crazy homicides were the origanal coney island gang. They were around for about fifteen years. Thats about all I know. Most likely they were the gang they had to hire to be able to shoot in coney.

Re: unidentified gangs
Who is this gang standing above to the left of cleon? At first i thoght it was the satans mothers, but the back patch is different. Its possible that this was an early design for satans mothers and they didnt have the costume budget to change it for nine people or it was a replacement for the costumes that were stolen by the extras that was wearing them. Other possibilties; they could either be the road masters or the nightriders.
