Well I had my boom during 1997-1998 when me and my friend Daniel saw at least once a month :) Now I see it perhaps twice a year!
But this is a graveyard...

I usually have the movie playing while I am getting ready for work or while doing something in the house. Like some earlier posts, I dont have enough time to watch the movie all the way through like I used to.

My son plays little league baseball and during his season we would watch parts of the film to get psyched for games. He would watch 1.) Masai address the Riffs, 2.) Baseball Furies Chase, 3.) Punks fight in restroom. It must have worked because his team went 21-1 and won their Divisional Championship.

I always believed that this movie should be watched on special occasions.  Its like when someone seems to have a hard time, so they turn to a religious book.  I feel if you wait a long time to watch it, its as if you are watching it all over again even if you know what is going to happen.  The reason I watch after a while, because I feel like I am learning the lesso and morals of this story all over again.  If I watch it constantly than it seems to lose its touch.  You should what a while, and than when your in a position of having nothing to do, or have to many worriers on your mind, than remember the warriors will always be there.  I like to go through life handling things myself, and than after a while, say "oh yeah I have not seen that movie in a long time", and than you feel refreshed since you have not seen it in such a long time.  That what keeps the warrior spirit in me.

Adam88 you're wonderful! You could not have said it any better...I truly believe that also...to watch the movie everyday can get boring after awhile and then where does that leave you...boredom! sheer boredom! not wanting to watch the movie again because its left you empty...watching the movie once in a while possibly once every 2 weeks or once a month or maybe a little bit more than that is good which is what I do...not watching it for more than a year is TOO much...the movie seems fresh and new like the first time I watched it...and I enjoy watching the movie and saying the movie lines along with it...If I keep watching it all the time, then I'll get bored sooner or later, not want to watch it anymore and I will feel like a part of me has been lost and I don't want to let that happen...and eventhough I don't watch the movie constantly I always have The Warriors in my heart since I consider myself one of the biggest fans...

yeah i agree with you two,i watch it 1 or 2 times a month.at friday morning i decide to watch it,and the more i think about it,the more i want to watch it.so,at 1 AM im really excited about watching it , and then you get more out of it i think, other than if you just watch it if you have got nothing to do.and i always try to spot new stuff.its alot more fun if you have that "warriors feeling".

i been watching it like since 81,82 so u can imagine how many times i seen it,when i was at high school it was always the movie to watch in bed b4 sleep but now i have a family it is either when i come home on a sunday from the pub and go away to bed early to get out of my wifes hair(she says i repeat myself with a beer in me!)for a warriors fix or when i go to my older brothers house for a cuppa it always makes an appearance on the tv.it was my uncle that introduced me to it back in the day sadly he passed away a few years back from alcoholism so when i do watch it now it puts a smile on my face cause i remember him when he was fine.it was and always will be his and our(me n my bro)sunday afternoon movie!for this i will always be gratefull to him for giving us this movie!it will always be my favourite film!always ;)

Two weekends ago was the first time I had watched the movie since the release of the original dvd.  For the last month I have been playing The Warriors on PS2, and this got me to thinking about the movie.  I've watched it three times over the past couple of weeks.  I grew up with this movie, first seeing it back in 1980.  It was always one of my favorites, along with Mad Max, The Road Warrior and Scarface.  I don't want to say that I forgot how good it was.  It was nice to not have seen it for a few years because my love for the movie has grown.  It really is a classic.
