Seeing as you dont see Fox fight in the movie, I'm really not sure, but fox in a way was ambushed, so yes I think Fox would of beat the cops ass, if the train asnt there, I mean come on, hes a WARRIOR!

If the train wasn't there and even if Fox couldn't fight, I'm sure he would have been able to free himself and run away from the cop.
We're going in there like everybody else nine guys no weapons

I agree
I think Fox may have been able to free himself and get away.
BUT if the cop could have kept a hold of him, I don't see him winning in a one on one extended confrontation with the cop. He was outweighed and out-trained, and out gunned. But in the split second moment--he certainly wasn't afraid to mix it up and get in and get his licks in. Have to admire his gut level on that.

Actually the orignal script (Before Thomas Waites decided to leave) was that Fox would be at the end of the movie and Get Mercy....meaning he would have won....but since he didn't stay they had to cut him out of the film so Fox lost in the film but not in the Orignal script

Fox definitely would've gotten away from the cop. I don't think he would've beaten him up so much as just run away from him some how. Fox looked like he could be bullied, but he was no scardy cat.
Are you just gonna let any army walk in any time they feel like it?  Pretty soon every gang is just gonna boogie right in, soldier right through.

the cop,s a much bigger guy.i think the only way fox would have got away would have been if he managed to kick the cop in the head then run away.all credit to him for his guts though.

I think if there was no train Fox might have been able to pull the cop down to the tracks with him and get the upper hand. I think the only reason the cop was winning was because he took Fox by surprise.

If there was no train Fox would definitely get away from that cop but who knows what would have happened after. There were cops all over the place.

It looked to me like the cop was winning even before the train came.
