"During the opening credits of the T.V. version, the knife that is thrown into the board was thrown (off camera) by Penn Jillette" - IMDB
Am I missing something - was there more deleted footage. I know there is a photo showing this scene got shot, but I assumed Paramount lost it.

Hang on, hang on.
I swear I've seen it - I have visions of it and I think it came from the BBC.
There is more footage of the Cyclone in the background as they run onto a beach.
This is a very clouded memory and may have been mutated in the last 12 years.

I have the BBC copy of the movie which is where I got the deleted intro from but there was no knife into the boardwalk scene. It would be great if we could uncover this scene from somewhere. If people have seen it then it must be out there somewhere. Likewise, there must be loads more production photos. There's a really good one of Rembrandt on the SE DVD which I was going to use for the memorial, but it had his name stamped over it (from the first feature introducing the Warriors).

Penn Jilette is the magician from Penn and Teller, right? Fat guy, not the quiet guy. That's some weird trivia.
But I don't recall seeing a shot like that.

Did you mean the Thunderbolt? The Cyclone is still standing, but the other roller coaster is history. Imagine if there was extra footage. I just hope we will have some very cool surprises in 2009.back2coney wrote: Hang on, hang on.

I got to say after reading the topic properly
I remember a scene at the end when they run onto the beach, i've never seen it since, sorry to cause confusion about a missing intro scene.
