one thing i was thinking is the game should've had cleon's girlfriend in it (from the director's cut in "deleted scenes") they have everyone else in the movie-it would be funny to have her as an unlocked charactor or something.
i wonder why david patrick kelly (luther/rogues) didn't do the voice for the game (seems like he would've done something like that) ??

i love the movie,  rockstar, and the game -i think they did a fine job
i think the roots is really good, and rockstar covered just about everything there is to cover with the game....
and you never get sick of playing it even after you finished it or used cheat codes

I've loved the movie for a long time, so when I heard about a game I was really excited but a bit leery too, mainly concerns that everyone has; graphics, voices, content.  When I played though I was pleasantly surprised by the Prequel aspect of it.  I loved it up until the point when you start playing the movie portion, only because I knew that it would soon be over.  Great movie, great game love 'em both.

the game being set before it is a good idea because you dont know the story and you dont compare it to the film which is always a dodgy area.

i like the game but i think it would be good if you could design your own gang after you completed it...not that i have, who knows maybe you can.

anyone else here played it?

im on the level where you have to smash through the gate in the parking lot/ car place while some guys are throwing flammable bottles at you

cant remember the details havnt played it in a while

The game is so cool. I give it a 10 outta 10. Some things could have been improved if there was a sequel like the free roam in Coney, but it's good as it is. If you liked the type of game that GTA was you'll like this.  Now it's hard to find (I say this because I never buy used games), but you can still get it online or in some stores.

I just brought the game about 2 week ago and i absolutly loved it.

It not only adapts to the movie very well but you can play what happens before the movie. :D :)

the only downside to the game is the last mission (come out to 0play) it kinda wrecks the plot with you actually fighting luther and throw bottles athim but what more could they do

They added that stuff so that the final mission didn't go out with a whimper, after all the other missions ending the game by just tossing a knife into Luther's arm would've seemed kinda weak. Besides, that's not all they added, there were other bits like in the "No Permits No Parley" mission where they're talking about how the Warriors wrecked the Orphans' leader's car, which they obviously didn't mention in the flick, and then the whole bit between then and when they grab Mercy, where in the game they have you hiding from the cops. It's all just to flesh it out and make the game more interesting...

[glow=red,2,300]I give rockstar an A++ for even taking on a task like this thats number one.number 2 i enjoyed the game alot i though i enjoyed playing as swan and cleon and im glad it didnt follow the movi perfectly only because there would be a lot of back lash with errors and what not so the prequal was a good idea[/glow]
