Alright.
I'm going to give it one more shot, and if it doesnt work out, i'll stop.
Series 2!
i know on their site they say they have no plans for Series 2 as of now. But I just think that with a little more nagging, we can get them to squeeze out one final Series. Hear me out.
I have proof that nagging gets things done in the Toy businesses.
Over at NECA they have the Pirates of the Caribbean line right. Well i'm a big fan of POTC, so i've been following this line since it started. On a lot of POTC forums and fan sites, people started to ask about a James Norrington figure. Than petitions began, than people started to nag NECA, sending emails left and right. Well it finally worked out becuase half way through last year Neca released images of Dead Man's Chest Series 3...and to everyone's surprise, a Norrington was there.
So my point is, maybe just a little more from us can get Series 2 out. I mean, i'm happy if they just do the five remaining Warriors and call it quits. I mean thats fair to everyone. The fans are getting more figures and Mezco is getting some money and shutting up their annoying fans.
Seriously, why shouldnt Mezco release the rest of the Warriors? I mean it's driving me up the wall looking at my shelf and seeing four warriors...four out of nine...
Toybiz is making heaps of baseball furies. And they are outnumbering the Warriors, This is stupid!
I just think we should try one last time to get Series 2 made with Cowboy, Snow, Foxx, Rembrandt and Vermin. After that we can all be happy, and Mezco can go back to making another 44 Series's of Family Guy.
I know this topic has come up alot, and i know alot of us are getting angry. But come on, wouldnt you like to complete your Warriors collection?
Ok...one last round.
Re: Ok...one last round.
who knows, what do you have to loose, go for it. You gotta fight the power man.
Re: Ok...one last round.
Not going to work, it's not about nagging, it's about money making. Mezco knows that they will not make money. Series one didn't sell well, so why bother with series 2. Hellboy comic sold better than the Warriors. So having that in mind, it's not going to happen.

Re: Ok...one last round.
exactly what LOTRC said.
if all of you had been around when the figures first came out, perhaps then sales would've been better for mezcos retail accounts and they would be doing a series 2. but seeing as it only took a whole year for people to figure out the warriors and the figures are cool, you guys are a year too late.

Re: Ok...one last round.
don't get me wrong, i'd love nothing more than to have a series 2 but its just not likely to happen.
the only way i see mezco doing anything is if someone steps up and commits to purchasing a bunch of them like toywiz did. basically you have to get all sorts of money together and pay them up front to get something made.
keep in mind though, the toywiz deal wasn't hard for mezco since they already had the molds for the furies. creating brand new molds for a brand new character would cost a heck of a lot more and there would be no way to justify the cost of producing the mold if they can only sell a small quantity.
unfortunately, this is how business works, not just the toy industry but every industry. its either profitable or it isn't, they don't care to satisfy a handful of nagging fans from an almost 30 year old movie franchise. you keep speaking of NECA, but you should know there are execeptions to every rule. i mean, just because you won the lottery once, doesn't mean you'll win the lottery again.

Re: Ok...one last round.
yes and no...
if you look at each of the warriors figures(none of the furies), each individual figure is totally different from one another. the joints are different, as well as the faces, arms, legs, feet, etc. mezco went all out in trying to make each character unique from one another in every possible way.
so unless you're willing to live with certain things being repetitive, they could theoretically make the other characters and only have to create molds for the faces but that still requires a bit of $$$ since the molds would have to be made out of an aluminum. the cost of an aluminum mold usually averages somwhere in the $5K range depending....

Re: Ok...one last round.
it can't hurt to ask but keep in mind, you can play the annnoying man/nagging nancy game all you want, but in the end money talks, and BS walks.
after a few nice replies, they'll just tell you to put your money where your mouth is...then whatcha gonna do? you got an extra $5k for the molds? on top of purchasing the minimum production run(i'd say atleast 1500 units) all by yourself?
if you gots the money, go for it! otherwise make your own figures like LOTRC.
whoops! i thoguht you meant mezco not toywiz.
for toywiz to do it, they gotta first sell out of the purple faced furies. if those were profitable for them(i can't see how they weren't since they were ripping people off left and right), perhaps they'll step up to mezco and get something else made but i can't say for sure?
either way, i don't care for toywiz so it wouldn't matter what they came out with, i just wouldn't buy it. in case you don't know, i hate toywiz with a passion. grrrrr!

Re: Ok...one last round.
again, money talks, BS walks. verbally offering them money is doesn't mean squat to them.
if you want to go and have a meeting like a professinal and hammer out a deal in writing, then it could possibly happen. but even then, why would toywiz cut themselves out of the profits? if anything you're better off going directly to mezco and getting them to do it. for every middleman that gets in on the deal, the price only goes up.
either way, they would probably ask for a non-refundable deposit up front as well as having you cover the bulk of the productions costs....more or less they're going to have you pay for everything and they'll take their cut.
doing this via email is not going to happen. for all they know, you're some 12 year old kid with absolutely no capital and just blowing wind up their butts. right now, i have no clue how old you are?, how serious you are?, or if i'm just totally wasting my time replying to you?, you see my point?
if you want to make this happen, it fully lies on you and how much money and effort you're willing to put into getting this done. but in all honesty, i think its a lost cause. i'm not trying to reign on your parade but theres doubters like me, and optimists like you, sooo.....
