Its perfect! I was thinking of taking a year off after 6th Form which means I wont be in Uni for 2008/2009 which means I can work and save money and go!!! WEEEE!
Someone else suggested we do it in May? Cheaper for sure, but what about university students etc???
Ninth Delegate suggested it... its a good idea to discuss exactly when in 2009 this will be held... any other suggestions?

When i was a student, we just blew our grant on booze.  Uni students are too drunk to care what month it is

Hey Honey lips; dont forget we have bank holidays over here in May.  Also to look into is when cast members will be availible and advanced booking of any venues.  I recall Tantive and candystore girl mentioning the park wanting to close before everyone had finished. Thats something else that has to be worked around.

Would Forum members prefer the screening to be in the park like last august, or coney island?

Keep those suggestions coming.

this will be my first time in new york and at the meeting*daniel shouts in excitement* i think that all of us should meet in coney island like at the beginning of da film then when we get to da bronx a.k.a van cortlandt park,*daniel takes a breath* we should do whatever they want to happen and then we should go back to coney just like in da film and then the screening should be shown. if you read this i appreciate it. quite long isnt it lol. :D

Hey Danny06...First off thats a really nice pic of the Ferris wheel...secondly the Conclave wasn't shot in Van Cortlandt park...it was actually shot in Riverside Park

but its good to see people putting their ideas into what it can be...I wonder what it will be...I can't wait for it either...2009 seems so far away!

I would love to be apart of this too...and the idea of people dressing up as warriors (or other gangs) is very nice also. I live in Europe but wouldn't miss this oportunity in the world!
I can't make it!
You sure?
Yeah, I'm sure.
Good... I'm sick of running from these wimps.

Go to the main page of this site and click on "Filming Locations".  You'll be able to watch recent location footage shot by furies1969 of the furies run and other sites.
