My future career

I was thinking about a career and I wanted to be a movie director.I was asking you warrior fans(including me)if it was alright if I made my own warrior movie with different gangs if you all don't like that I wanted to direct a Mafia movie that would take place in 1939 in New york. Do u all think this I a good idea??

Og course it would be alright, I mean lots of up and coming directors make movie that are homage's to classic films.  Look at movies like the purifiers, for example, the director admits to using it as a homage.  Its basically your own spin of it, I mean if Tony Scott wants to do a remake than you should do your own version out of respect and love of the movie.  Go for it, it sounds interesting my friend.

well i have been thinking for almost a year now about what i should do in my life im 19 years old with a baby on the way ( i little too young i know but hey) and i need a career and now my heart is set on movie directing my dream is to create another lord of the rings trilogy and another gang movies maybe we could all pitch in our ideas in this thread??
