Comedies?

Post by War-Lord »

I am baffled at what I find funny and what my friends find funny. I guess I have a very weird sense of humor.  I was asking them the same questions that I am asking you. What comedies to get that will make me laugh every time I watch them. Well even though my comedies aren't really comedies they are being serious but they are funny to me. Here are the movies I laugh at every time I watch.

Jarhead and Full Metal Jacket both the boot camp scenes and Jarhead throughout. Though and theres only 3 comedies that I find utterly hillarious. Friday, Van Wilder, and Euro Trip.

Are there any comedies like this that I could watch and make me laugh here is a short list of movies I like but don't find funny.

Holy Grail
Friday 2 and 3
Goonies
Ferris Beuller
Road Trip
Clerks Series even including Dogma and Jay and silent bob

and many more I think you get the picture. I would just like a comedy releated to the Jarhead and Full Metal Jacket boot camp scenes and Friday, Van Wilder, and Euro Trip.

You could try Stipes, that's basicly a boot camp movie. Lords Of Disapline also has some funnny sences.
Make sure you don't over loook movies like Police Academey or AirPlane. And you must see the ultimate collage movie. You must see Animal House if you have not already.

People said I should get movies that cuss alot if I like Jarhead and FMJ. Which I don't think is the case considering I watched Jay and Silent Bob and didn't find that very funny. So if that is true it would have to be people cussing when they are serious. I do find that funny. You will know what I mean if you watched Jarhead.

National lampoons vacation was one of my faves when i was growing up.  I have a sick sense of humour and find it funny that they tie the dead grandma to the car roof.

My favourite comedy of all time is still the first Porkys film.  The whole scene where ballbreaker is trying to describe the "tallywhacker" to the principle, cracks me up everytime.

What about stand-up comedians.  Like Eddie Murphy's "Raw" or Richard Pryor's "Live on the Sunset Strip" or Chris Rock "Bigger and Defer"

Theres a new film about to be released called 9th company.  Its been compared to both Jar head and full metal jacket.  You might like to give that a try.  I think its a 15 certificate over here.
