. So i just bought the Barrera vs marquez fight on pay per view, and im looking forward to the de la hoya vs mayweather fight. So come on guys, talk it up.. I rarely make topics now! 8) my favorite are mexican boxers to not just cause im mexican but how how they fight , my favorite is salvador sanchez, man was he the best light wieght champion ever, its sucks that he died in 82 at 24 while he was the light wieght champion because of a car accident, he would never get messed up in fights, maybe just a cut but he would beat the hell out of his opponent. my fav match is when he fights alfredo gomez, salvador wins the match by ko and gomez fell out of the ring, gomez was purto rican and he would always talk trash about salvador and mexicans, so salvador got him back in the ring.warlord jp wrote: This thread is to talk about proffesional boxing. It eneded in a tied, cuz juan manuel marquez got knocked out by pacman 3 times in the first round, but then marquez took control of the remaining 11 rounds. That fight was rubbish, It shouldn't of been stopped. Calzaghe was throwing alot of punches but most of them wern't even hitting Manfredo. calzaghe is a very good fighter but he barely got started, he's getting quite old now he'll probably retire in a couple more years
