Well....actually......70's for me. The 80's music is better, but for me the 70's styles and the way things were like were better. Flarelegs and feathered hair for me! But music wise Hair Metal is the way to go!

It's a hard one to choose bettween the 60's and the 70's. They both had great music and clothes. I would give anything to be there. I voted for the 60's( woodstock!) but, I'd rather cheat. I would live from 1965-1975, still a decade right?  ::)

Have to agree Stickwarrior 65 to 75 (maybe 62 to 72) was the best and Storm the 50s were right there to.

I have often thought how lucky I was to have grown up then. If these so called scientists ever get off there rear and figure out a time machine all 3 of us will hitch a ride. ;)

I don't, but its just something about the 70's that I just simply admire a little bit more than the 80's.  I guess it was just everything from the music, the movies, the cloths.  I mean th mid 70's was going into the whole disco scene.  It seemed to be an era where bohemians were more around, and struggling artists roamed the streets of Manhattan expressing themselves in artistic ways.  Its really hard to grasp why the 70's is more drawn to me.  Its not as easy as, the fashion styles, but the whole essence of it is very compelling.

I would have loved either the 50s or the 80s. The fifties because greasers were awesome, and everything just seemed better back then. The eighties because the whole punk scene and goofy fashion.

the punk scene was in the late 70's. in the 80's it was the metal, hair metal, glam rock, hard rock, teeth metal scene.

But, you didn't need all that technogly! I would much rather listen to 8-Tracks, tapes, and vinal than to an MP3 or a CD.

Besides, look at the cars. If you don't know which ones I mean take a quick look at the movies Dazed and Confused or American Graffiti. Those are class A cars. I would love to have an Edsel than the jelly bean cars we know today.

You get to know the people around you alot more too. The world was such a smaller place then. Instead of living on the net you went out and found your friends. You were out in the mornings and didn't come back till the streetlights came on for dinner.

AND THE MUSIC!! I could not live in a time when such great music is forgotten. This is why I can't even being to think about how much I hate those kids of my day, somtimes.

I just can't belive that some kids can't use a record or tape. And when I give them an 8- Track they would be confused into a coma.
Sorry, got into a little rant just then.
