If you're interested in the history of the Greek character Ajax, check it out!  It's pretty interesting, and there's one really amusing bit in there for people who have read the book, too!  Isn't it odd how things just come together?  Just thought someone else would want to see this, too!

Ajax really resembles the Grecian Ajax...that small description really has a similiarity to the story of The Warriors...Cleon would somehow resemble Archilles...and after Cleon was killed Ajax wanted to take over and so of course Swan (resembling Odysseus) was chosen since he was the wiser (and smarter) compared to Ajax...and lets just say that the Grecian Ajax's death was not similiar to the '79 Ajax but it looks more like he was defeated one way or another whether thru death or getting arrested by the "fuzz"...

...he couldn't get what he wanted and didn't want to listen to reason...thus he got the tough way...this is definitely a good reason why he was given that name!
