28 Weeks Later

Post by LIPPY »

Okay, so it's Saturday, right, and me and Kim decide to drive to the Odeon cinema in Colchester to watch this new movie... We buy the tickets, as well as a fivers worth of pick 'n' mix sweets, toffee butterkist popcorn and a fat cup of Pepsi (hey, we were raised on bad sugar stuff) and into screen 5 we go.

It's dead quiet in there, and after finding our seats, we get comfortable as the film starts...

Now, I'm not going to go into great detail about what went on, but after 2 Hours or so of watching the intense eerie-ness, breathtaking effects and a ton of pure brutal RAGE infected nutters, we realised something...

We hadn't even opened the bag of popcorn or eaten a single sweet.

Amazing. We left the cinema shocked, stunned and speechless. I thought it was awesome.

If you like being a bit spooked and 28 Weeks Later is on at the cinema near you, laugh off the pirate copies and GO SEE IT. You won't regret it.

And if you have already seen it, let me know your thoughts!

:D

I was wondering where this story was going until I saw the part about not opening the sweets lol I hope you ate them when you got out  ;) So its that good huh? I might just take a trip to the cinema to see it. Its been desecrated by critics in the papers and what not, they said that it was terible. I hope Robert Carlisle gives a good performance, always good to see him in a new movie.
