Skip Chaisson of the new Warriors movie sent me this which I thought you might enjoy...

hey gareth,

just wanted to let you know that i recently went to a screening of the original film in hollywood-
it was just great to see it with fans on a big screen again, it was great fun.  there were only 2 unadvertised showings- and they still both sold out!

there are a lot of rumors swirling around about the new film, and i have seen none that are true, in reality, the script is really coming together and i am sure that fans of the original will be pleasantly surprised.

Ya know, I really WANT to be pleasantly surprised by this. Personally, I haven't seen or heard ANYTHING about the new movie other than what I've read here in the 2008 section, most of which is negative. It all goes in one ear and out the other though, because, like the man said, there are a lot of rumours... I'm not making any judgements until I've seen the whole thing with my own eyes!

Wandering what he meant with 'fans of the original will be pleasantly surprised'. Is it because the new movie will contain some strong references to the 1979 one?
Can't wait to see some oficial info coming out.

hmm that was great the way he said we would be 'pleasently surpsied' maybe this does mean we get swan,snow,rembrandt cyrs etc etc ect also the BB furies and punks or it might just meen a few trong references
