I went with Leatherface,  a mask made of human skin, enough said.

I think all of them are scary, except for the Scream mask. After watching Scary Movie, I can't take Scream seriosly.

The Micheal myres mask was freaky. It didn't show any emotion, but the mask from the first Halloween film was just a Star Trek, William Shatner mask painted white.


The Leatherface mask from the remake TCM was made out of rubber. This one, the original, was made out of cooked pig skin

It was a close call between jason vorhees and halloween, but i voted for michael myers "the shape".  Both are emotionless (as oxygen pointed out), but part of jasons charm was the rotting flesh showing underneath.
If you put the same hockey mask on an average person, it wouldnt have the same disturbing effect.  Plus I hated the futeristic mask in jason X.

The scream mask isnt even scary, its laughable really.

I like the Jason mask as well as the Michael myers mask. They can really get your nightmares going.

But if I had to choose the best mask it would be Jason.

I don't think anyone really can say that he even considers the Scary mo, hkm excuse me, the Scream mask to be scary... well not any more. But Scream wasn't even scary at first when Scary movie was yet to come out...    and as for real fear I'd have to go with Halloween...  that guy just creeps me out!  8-[  [goes off to see if he is home alone  ::)]
