I'm curious to see what's coming. There's no way they're going to make it come close to the original. It might be a cool action flick but the feel is not going to be the same. The Warriors is just one of those movies which should be kept untouched.
Altough I agree that it might take the 1979 movie to some people who never heard of it before.

I guess we're gonna have to wait and see. Just hope they don't mess it up big time.

its almost gonna be a totally new movie the only same things will be the name:``the warriors´´ and that there will be a meeting.the guys name may even be cyrus they think.so that means no swan,no ajax,no furies...........

I am totally against the a remake, if somethings not broke don't try to fix it. It will not have as much of an impact as the original in 1979.

Well considering almost EVERYTHING in terms of films made today are remakes i am certainly not surprised they are remaking it, but i don't look forward to it, In my opinion the warriors like many other classics remade into shambles should have/be left alone, being a curious fan of film i will watch it and hope to god i am proven wrong.

I would go see it.  I enjoy seeing remakes - but they very rarely measure up to the originals.

Well iam going to see it but i am against it i think it is going to be rubbush because they are going to use guns they btter not ruin the legacy of the warriors.

Well dude to the fact that I read that non of the original gang or gang members are going to be in it I am there for against it. And also its going to be an MTV Film ? They are going to tarnish this great film with most likley one of the million and one talentless "artists" that appear on that channel everyday. Does anyoe want to see someone like Puff Daddy as Cryus ? I know I dont.

I am total against this movies, this is worse then the straight to dvd remake of Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure that is scheduled to be coming out in the next year or so.
