Re: Classic R&B and Soul + Smooth Jazz
R&B, it has to be Keith Sweat. His early stuff was the best, talk smooth talk. I am like you 'T', I am always searching for something new, regardless of what it is, it could be tango or rock, if it's good, I am listening to it!

Re: Classic R&B and Soul + Smooth Jazz
It's all about Soul for myself.
My favourite style of music right now (and has been for a long time) without a doubt.
Granted I am mainly in to the mainstream stuff, but it's all good. I could listen to Marvin Gaye's 'What's Goin' On' album on repeat for the rest of my life, I just love it.
However, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles 'Tracks of my Tears' easily goes down as my second favourite song of all time, in any genre (Behind 'Don't Stop Believin'). I still remember the first time I heard it. It was in the underworld scene in 'Platoon' and I instantly fell in love with the song.

Yes Journey "Marvin Gaye's 'What's Goin' On'" is a classic,
for anyone reading this, who have not heard it..
Also Marvin Gaye's 1973 album, Let's Get It On,
I have both of these in Deluxe Editions, with bonus Tracks, simply magic..
I also have the soundtrack to Trouble-Man..
Brother remember "Trouble-Man" and "'T' Plays It Cool "
Also if you ever get a chance,If you really Love Marvin Gaye, you should pick up

Just To See Her Again
The Tears Of A Clown
You've Really Got A Hold On Me
Going To A Go-Go
Mickey's Monkey
Shop Around
The Tracks Of My Tears
