Ultimate Director's Cut

Post by pierangler »

I really enjoy watching the Ultimate Director's Cut DVD of The Warriors.  The Special Features are great to watch - lots of info regarding trivia and how the movie was filmed.

I must have mis-understood the directions for posting....

I did a search for "Ultimate" in the search box and nothing came up.  I do a search now and the only post that comes up is the one that I posted yesterday.

I thought that I was following the instructions.

The special features are great, but that's all I like about the udc.  I hate those stupid animated freeze frames, they ruin the whole flow of the story.

Yeah, I'm a purist, through and through... give me the original. :) The same goes for a lot of other flicks, too.

Still, the extras are good. A bit short, but good. How 'bout a definitive documentary? That's what all classics deserve...

Yeah, the documentaries are really cool and actually add up to be an hour long "making of." The new film version however can never top the original, especially if you saw it in the theaters when it first came out. I did, and between February 1979 and early 1980 I caught it in every theater it played in till it was no longer around.

Guys come on... Swan 1979 and "atw" told you this is not just a new thread. Search for it and post your reply there. This is the right way of following the rules. I know you can be good members... so... an advice: when you open a topic, don't read only the last post. This way you can notice every point.
I didn't like so much Ultimate Director's Cut new scenes... but I posted this there.
Don't post here anymore. See ya guys. ;)
